Check the repaired function
Review the reported fault and test the affected function when you receive the device. Keep the approved quote and any repair or warranty information. If a concern remains, describe the symptom and refer to the original request rather than starting with an assumed cause.
Check the work against the approved quote
At handover, compare the completed work with the part or service you approved. Ask how the repaired function was checked and keep the job reference with the quote and warranty record, if one applies. If the original symptom returns, describe when it happens and contact the team using that same reference. A new fault and a recurrence of the assessed fault may need different follow-up.
