What to include in a technology handover

Agree how the delivered work will be checked and documented.

1 minute read · Mobitron Blog

Define completion in advance

List the delivered equipment, required configuration, setup checks, and responsible project owner. Record dependencies that must be ready at the receiving location. Agree who accepts the work and which documents or instructions are required at handover.

What a handover record should explain

Agree which devices and users are included, which configuration tasks were approved, and how completion will be checked. Keep the equipment list, outstanding items, and support contact arrangements together. If licences or access are supplied by the customer, record that dependency in the scope. A handover then becomes evidence of the agreed work rather than simply confirmation that equipment reached the site.
